Hailing from the hills of the Mt. Washington Valley, Junco performs an original, award-winning hybrid of rock, folk, and jazz. The band is comprised of bassist Anthony Branca, guitarist Jeremy Holden, drummer Alex Ouellette, singer/guitarist Bobby Sheehan, and oboist Dan Stackhouse. Since their inception Junco has released an EP, Waking the Sleeping Giant in May 2015 and an LP, The Night the Lake Stood Still in March 2017. The band has performed across the northeast at venues and festivals including Stone Mountain Arts Center, Port City Blue, the Bath Heritage Days Festival, and Arts Jubilee Summer Concerts, and they have been repeat musical guests on WCSH6's "207" television program and the Cold River Radio Show. While channeling the sounds of the Dave Matthews Band, Paul Simon, and the Grateful Dead, Junco's lively presence, upbeat themes, and improvisational approach all add up to a feel-good, stimulating, and ever-evolving style of music.
